A Kind of Saturnalia | 2019 | installation.

A Kind of Saturnalia is a body of work created for a solo exhibition at Best Practice in San Diego, CA. The installation consists of cyanotypes on muslin and paper, a multi-channel video installation, and a large-scale sculptural installation which is played as a game. Viewers are invited to engage in low-stakes gambling and the destruction of ceramic artworks as a tribute to the Greco-Roman celebration of the Saturnalia.
